Leading Web Data Company Shows Self-Sufficiency Internet Searches Taking Off
According to a recent report from Hitwise, searches for self-sufficiency topics have been taking an increasing amount of market share of weekly internet visits over the last few months.
As potential causes, Hitwise mentions several contributing factors including: Channel Four’s River Cottage series in the UK, and fear of recession and rising food costs. We would like to add one more possible reason, which is what seems to be a never-ending procession of food recalls here in the United States.
We are a group of individuals who are looking for a landowner somewhere in rural northern New Mexico (Mora, Rio Arriba, but not the county that Santa Fe is in). We’d prefer that the landowner already has land and would like to work with us directly, either by selling us a portion of the land, or working in tandem with us to grow our community. We have heavy equipment already and would be ready to start creating this community in the spring (2010)
